Information we collect
When you order, we collect the contact, fulfilment, order, payment-status, receipt, and optional feedback information you provide. We also record limited technical and usage data needed for security, site operation, and understanding the ordering journey.
Gift cards
When you buy a gift card we collect your name and email address for the receipt, and the recipient's name and email address so we can send them the card. The recipient's details are used only to deliver it and to answer questions about that card; they are never sent to advertising tags and are not used to market to them. The card number itself is stored only in a scrambled form that cannot be read back, which is why a lost card is cancelled and reissued rather than re-sent.
Essential browser storage
The website stores your bag, pickup or delivery choice, checkout retry key, and secure order-return details in your browser so ordering works reliably.
Service analytics
Pizza 62 records first-party ordering events needed to operate and improve the service.
Advertising measurement
The website loads the Meta Pixel, and Google measurement tags where they are configured, so Pizza 62 can tell which advertising leads to orders. They receive actions such as page views, product views, additions to the bag, checkout starts, phone-link clicks, and confirmed purchases—including gift card purchases—together with product IDs, order value in Canadian dollars, and the order or gift card reference, which is used only to keep one purchase from being counted twice.
Pizza 62 does not send your name, email address, phone number, street address, payment details, order-tracking token, gift card number, or any gift card recipient's details to these tags. They are not loaded on staff, kitchen, or order-tracking pages.
Campaign labels in an arrival link—such as UTM parameters or ad click IDs—may be retained in browser storage and attached to Pizza 62's own funnel events and to the resulting order, so an order can be credited to the ad that produced it.
To decline advertising measurement, use your browser's tracking-protection or cookie controls, or call the restaurant and we will tell you how. Clearing this site's data also clears the campaign labels and the stored choice.
How information is used
We use this information to prepare and fulfil orders, contact you about an order, provide secure tracking, handle support and feedback, prevent abuse, maintain business records, improve service, and understand which marketing leads to orders.
Payments and sharing
Online card entry is handled by Clover when configured; Pizza 62 does not store raw card numbers. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the platform and fulfil your order, with Meta and Google to the limited extent described under advertising measurement, or where required by law.
